| Jan Breuls-Dorang, President has worked for
over 26 years training clients on Simply Accounting®, MYOB® and
QuickBooks®. Jan's years working as an Estate Administrator for
Trustees in Bankruptcy provided opportunities for clients to
learn how to budget and spend wisely.
Jan has been a Simply Accounting® Consultant since 1987 and
is presently a Premier Advisor. Jan is a ProAdvisor with Intuit
Canada.
Jan originally began preparing manual general ledgers and
setting up branch offices for a retailer in Mississauga. Her
love of learning and knowledge has opened many doors into the
computerized software industry. She started using Bedford,
which is prior to Simply Accounting and keeping abreast of all
the latest versions of the accounting packages for small and
medium companies. Jan continues to attend workshops and
seminars to enrich her knowledge.
Over the years Jan has shown her organization skills while
organizing events and meetings for Associations and her 25th
High School Reunion in 2002 and the Breuls Family Reunion. Jan
was the Conference Coordinator for the
Canadian Bookkeepers Association National Conference (CBA)
for 4 years. Jan was nominated to the CBA Board of Directors
November 2004. Jan was the Vice-President until December 2007
of the Association.
Jan has taught individuals and companies not just on
accounting software but on various other software such as
Mazimizer, ACT, Microsoft Office, Wordperfect, QuatroPro, Lotus
etc.

Mike Colle, Ontario Minister of Citizenship and Immigration.

Experiences for Newcomer Women
Jan spearheaded a volunteer training
program at NEW (New Experiences for Newcomer Women) in Toronto.
The training program began with a 12 week course in Bookkeeping,
followed by 8 weeks training on Simply Accounting and
QuickBooks.
As a volunteer, Jan has continued to
mentor several of her students from the Bookkeeping Course
offered at NEW.
